Great for my 20 month old!
My son loves these! I wanted to try something different. He likes to build things with legos, so I thought I would give these a try. I read some of the other reviews on how they hurt when you step on them and let me tell you, they were right! I’ve been ver cautious ever since. Anyway, I like that you can buy other sets and they all vary. Overall, I’m super satisfied and my son is happy!

Still the same after 40 years
My son had these as his first building blocks about 40 years ago. I decided that I would see if they were the same fun toy for my 18 month old grandson's visit. The are the same great toy for a little one. The colors are vivid. They are a free form building set for children to put together and take apart as they wish. They are great for developing hand/eye coordination. Not enough good things to say about these blocks.

Kids LOVE It!
I bought this for 18-month-old twins and they can't get enough of it. The blocks have textures that the kids love, and they're easy to stack, which is helpful for limited coordination. Plus, the kids love the animals that came with the blocks, as the babies are learning animal sounds. The animals connect easily to the blocks and to each other. They are a great addition to the block set and I'm thrilled that they're included. This is such a fun block set! I recommend it!

Wonderful Toy
I love Bristle blocks - especially for toddlers. It takes almost no effort to stick them together, and they stay together - depending on how roughly they are played with. Children can also take them apart easily. Older preschoolers can easily make things like "cars" and "airplanes", etc. Great for the imagination.

Good quality
My 4 year old son loves these. It is his first bristle block set and they are easy to put together for his little hands. Also good for older kids. He really likes the animal theme also.

Great for toddlers
i love this set. Just the right amount for creative play without being too much. The animals are super cute and my daughter really enjoys playing with these. I got them for under $10 and they were definitely worth it.

Another great toy by Battat
I am a fan of toys that inspire creativity and imagination. My 1-1/2 year old son seemed to always gravitate toward mega blocks and the like, so I thought these bristle blocks would be a hit with him. The blocks are great quality—colors are gorgeous as always with Battat toys, the plastic is hard and durable while edges are nice and rounded (for when we inevitably st pnon one in the dark....), and the pieces fit together very easily. This particular set is a great starter-set as it offers a variety of blocks: regular blocks, wheels, flowers, and animals. So... you’re probably wondering: did my son like them? Yes! I mean, he plays with them off and on for about 10 minutes at a time, but he has to be in the mood to sit and play. These days, he’s off running around testing his physical abilities so it’s a bit tough to get him to sit and concentrate on toys like this, but I’m not going to knock Battat for that. I know in due time he will learn to better focus and concentrate for longer durations.

One of our favorite toys!
Hands down one of the best toys that I’ve purchased for my 15 month old! She has played with these every day and is able to connect them more successfully than other building materials/blocks. There were a few parts that I felt might be too small for her, so I just set those aside for when she is older. My friends’ older children also really like playing with these. I will probably purchase another set of bristle blocks at some point so that she is able to build more.

Granddaughter loves them!!!
Our 20 mo old granddaughter loves these - they are easy for her to put together - she obviously hasn’t mastered making something but she loves to put them together and take them apart. The bucket is great - you can even use the lid to start your creations. These are soft and easy for little hands to grasp. The bucket easily holds them all so they can all be put away when playtime is over.

Grandkids & parents love them
I remember Bristle Blocks from when my kids were younger. I wanted a building set that stayed together when carried around and something teething toddlers would chew on and if stepped on, would not hurt too badly. These filled those requirements. Plus the jungle animals were a big hit! We did put away a few of the smaller pieces so the teething 1 year old wouldn't put those in her mouth. The 2.5 yo likes making constructing objects with some adult help. A few of the pieces are hard to push together securely but I think with use this will become easier. Adults and children spent quite some time playing with them. I purchases 2 sets. One Jungle set and a basic set so there were enough pieces to make more constructed objects. A+
