NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Mrs. Miracle shows an ordinary family that they are blessed beyond belief in this uplifting holiday tale from Debbie Macomber, the queen of Christmas stories.

As the holiday season begins, Laurel McCullough could use some good news. She and her husband, Zach, have been praying for a baby that seems more and more like an impossible dream, and they’ve had to move in with her beloved grandmother, Helen, who’s having trouble taking care of herself. But when Laurel contacts a local home-care organization for help, there are no caregivers available.

Then Mrs. Miracle appears at the door. No stranger to lending a helping hand to a family in need, Mrs. Miracle reveals herself to be nothing short of a godsend. Helen’s even convinced she’s an angel! And Laurel can’t help but notice that with Mrs. Miracle’s companionship, Helen is noticeably happier and more engaged, decorating the family Christmas tree and setting up the nativity. In the meantime, Laurel and Zach encounter curious signs, all pointing toward the arrival of a special baby.

As Christmas approaches, there appears to be even more to Mrs. Miracle than meets the eye. In a classic tale of Debbie Macomber’s signature seasonal magic, Laurel, Zach, and Helen experience a holiday of heavenly proportions.

What a happy and blessed story.

This book has all the qualities of a wonderful feel good magical holiday story. The author made me feel like I was a member of the family immersed in their lives and seeing how their love for each other played out. It evoked many memories of happy Christmases in my past with my family members and reminded me how blessed I am to have been given the opportunity to adopt a beautiful daughter. I read this in 2 sittings and was happy with the ending. Read this story to brighten your holidays. You will love it.

Cute!

While Laurel and Zach McCullough are happily married, there is one thing they want but can’t have – a baby. Laurel is unable to conceive and after an attempt at adoption fails miserably, she no longer want to try even if Zach hasn’t quite given up. Laurel has another worry on her mind – her beloved grandmother is becoming forgetful and unable to care for herself. When the aptly named Mrs. Miracle shows up at their door to help as caregiver she seems to be the answer to their prayers. Little do Laurel and Zach realize that by Christmas another one of their prayers will be answered. “A Mrs. Miracle Christmas” is another cute Christmas novel from the always delightful Debbie Macomber. Macomber has a wonderful gift for mixing serious issues (Laurel and Zach’s inability to have a child and Nana’s declining health) with the whimsical (Mrs. Miracle and a quick visit from some of her Angel friends) and making it work. Laurel and Zach’s story is realistically done and at times heartbreaking but it never overwhelms the story to the point that it is hard to read. Nana’s story is also well done and I just loved her interactions with Mrs. Miracle. Speaking of Mrs. Miracle, this is not the first book Debbie Macomber has used her in and I was delighted to learn she was returning – she is by far my favorite Macomber character. Her appearance and that of some of her angelic friends adds a nice of Christmas magic to the book. The ending of the book is delightful although you probably don’t want to think too much about it. “A Mrs. Miracle Christmas” is another cute holiday novel by Debbie Macomber.

Heartwarming

Macomber delivers a beautiful, Christmas story full of hope and miracles. A young couple has given up on having a family after heart wrenching experiences. A grandmother is slowly losing her mental faculties. Enter Mrs. Miracle, who is a care giving angel. The Family responds to her ministrations and a much awaited arrival is on her way. This is a feel good story set in a season of hope and renewal. Thanks to NetGalley for the advance read.

A great Christmas story

This is the first Debbie Macomber book I have read, but I have seen several of the movies based on her books. This is a book that you don't want to put down. I feel like I was a part of the story. Loved it.

Improbably Delightful

Warm hearted cozy read. Mrs. Miracle is back in action. This a story of a young couple struggling to become parents. They live with the wife's Nana. Nana is slowly losing her mental and physical capabilities. The couple realized they need assistance during the day to help with Nana. They call the Caring Angel home services and shortly thereafter Mrs. Miracle shows up on their doorstep. Keep your eyes open for angels.

Lacks the charm of the original novel

I am not going to say that I didn't enjoy the book in the sense of finding it a welcome distraction. But I really felt like the charm of the original story about Mrs. Miracle was missing. It felt like the author found it a chore to write rather than a story she wanted to tell. I love the idea of Mrs. Miracle, but if the author writes more about her and I hope she does, maybe she could review what made the first novel so charming.

Perfect Christmas miracle story

Do you ever read the perfect book at just the right time in your life? A Mrs. Miracle Christmas was that book for me. It’s beautiful, it’s magical, it’s a belief in higher powers, and it’s about a topic near and dear to my heart - adoption. This book is beautiful written and I would love to shove it in the hands of everyone but because of the subject matter it could trigger some sad feelings -especially this time of year. This is an easy 5 stars from me and if you are in the right head space, I highly recommend it.

A beautiful Christmas story

What a beautiful story. So many couples struggle with infertility. It was heartbreaking to watch Laurel and Zach struggling, and yet exciting to watch God answer their prayer. I loved how Mrs. Miracle became a companion to Laurel’s grandmother allowing Nana to have a front row seat to see God work. A wonderful Christmas story.

My love of angels

I absolutely believe in angels as I gave had some experiences with. This book brought out such wonderful love for angels. I have a Truly believed in Shirley, Goodness and Mercy and Mrs. Miracle. You have to have faith not doubt and Laurel finally got. Once you gave heartache you don’t want to believe but there is always some one whether real, imagination, belief and faith that will always be there to help you out. Believe

Unabomber brings the best of the Christmas spirit.

A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is the perfect heartfelt Christmas novel. You feel all the emotions the characters go through. This novel has joy, hope, love, and miracles. Anyone who enjoys holiday romance will find this book to be one they will want to read over and over.
