the only reason animals wouldnt understand what jogging means (other than that they are dumb) is because humans have one of the highest stamina out of all animals in the world. why would they understand jogging? we are special in our unique way of hunting, which in old days literally meant you chased an animal down until they collapsed out of fatigue.
